Nella sua nuova veste, col termine "Lanca" si descrive perfettamente il suo habitat di riferimento: ambienti profondi da zero a 2 metri, con acqua ferma o corrente lenta, spesso di ridotte dimensioni e ricchi di vegetazione dentro e fuori dall'acqua. NUOVE CARATTERISTICHE: Il corpo in sughero di Mr Lanca, per quanto di diametro uguale, ha una lunghezza ridotta di mezzo centimetro rispetto al suo predecessore, affinchè la penetrazione dell'amo sia ancora più efficace. Alleggerito nel bilanciamento e con piombatura distribuita su tutta la lunghezza del corpo, esso affonda molto lentamente in assetto orizzontale e su un recupero vivace risale velocemente verso la superficie per scavalcare al meglio gli ostacoli incontrati. Anche il rivestimento in pelo di cervo è stato opportunamente adattato al fine di migliorare non solo la catturabilità ma anche la durata nel tempo a morsi e a un'uso reiterato. L'amo Owner Worm Hook 11/0, che con facilità può forare i becchi più duri senza però aprirsi grazie alla sua forma rastremata, è tenuto in linea grazie a un tubicino di materiale composito resistente ai tagli, favorendo allamate, azione di nuoto e un numero molto minore di incagli in zone "sporche". Sopra la coda vengono incollati un dischetto plastico e un fermaglio per evitare scivolamenti, favorendo un'azione di nuoto gradevole e reattiva.
